The home you build is the home you’ll live in. That’s the philosophy behind Affix Architectures, a architecture firm that specializes in creating spaces that are both comfortable and beautiful and a stand out!
This CHERUVANCHERY Residence is a new residential project designed by Affix Architectures, designed for our client Siraj; featuring an eclectic mix of Victorian and Kerala Architecture elements! Stretched out on a 6000sqft large, isolated land area at Cheruvanchery, the residence has been designed to provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for the residents, while still maintaining an elegant and refined aesthetic!
Showcasing a contemporary architectural speciality elevation of flat & slope combined roof structure from the outside, this home looks like any other Victorian house. But inside, it’s a whole different story with the one-of-a-kind architecture! We ended up with a bifurcated staircase with cnc grilled handrail that adds a stylish, royal and elegant touch to the entire space.
It was a challenge for us to design a unique royal type of interior that reflects the client’s unique taste in design—something that will feel like a unique royal home to them! Team Affix achieved these particular specifications as per the client’s desire by meticulously & thoughtfully adding in the right elements and special materials!
The main attraction about this residence is its façade which features false ceiling cornice work throughout each room and round decorative pattern on ceilings in hall gives a main attraction to it. Also, palace-inspired Victorian detailed interiors combined with royal exterior create an elegant and grandiose ambiance.
The entire walls were designed with multi-wood beadings which add a classical feel to the panelling. Wooden steps with led strip along with attractive, specially carved cnc grilled handrails, with 6×4 Satin matte Italian joint free marble floor base all make for a beautiful design! We love how this home combines old-school charm with modern style!
As for the colours used; it has the shades of Arabian Desert sands and its ecosystem. The furniture, Sofas and curtains are much like works of art which make the home look finished and they truly are a decoration in and of themselves. Pastel and contrast coloured sofas and beds was designed as royal furnishings which makes it look more beautiful and elegant!
The floor plan is spacious, yet cosy & intimate at the same time! It has a 6/5m & 4.3/4.4 size 6 bedrooms with separate dressing area and washrooms. It also has a separate car porch which is double storeyed and the upper part has one bedroom along with a stunningly amazing landscape view!
The exterior landscaping was very thoughtfully designed with a well deserving, refreshing garden with stone paved pathways. The Front yard has a round shaped garden with walkway. This project is a beautiful example of how modern and traditional architecture can come together to create something truly special!
