Spread over 22191.52 sqft located on the outskirts of the city, it is an ideal weekend plan for those who want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of cities.
When Siraj Banasura approached Affix design studio, our main constraint was to design their resort in Condor levels. So the levels have to be connected using ramps.
The resort made in the format of Cozy coupe and Kasi Villa has an exceptional blend of Kerala traditional architecture and contemporary elements.
Cozy coupe follows a traditional architecture style with a nostalgic slope roof on the exterior and wooden cots in the interior which gives a homely feel. The next room is Kasi Villa; a luxurious stay in the green neighborhoods of Banasura Sagar dam. Super deluxe kasi villa redefines comfort and luxury with private swimming pool and a fantastic balcony offering a panoramic view of the beautiful Wayanad Western Ghat Mountains.
When it comes to color, the designers of the team are keen enough to select the subtle color of nature, which is grey. It is a general rule practiced in design colors that appear in nature has the most calming effect and the right combination of colors can make a room feel spacious and elegant.
Kerala Architecture is one of the most exciting examples showing how to live harmoniously with nature. Architects of Siraj chose natural building materials such as natural stones, rustic tile, and wooden plank for construction which is suitable for the climate of Kerala. Handic type furniture brimming with the artistic talents and experience of the trained hands is one of the special elements of design.
We bring to life rustic interiors by blending ruggedness with charm and highlighting the natural beauty. Our endeavour is to create a relaxing atmosphere which is augmented by the use of wood, stone and other elements. Our designs use square or rectangular plans that are in consonance with Kerala architectural form.
The Architectural specialty for the both the interiors and the exteriors were styled by using natural building materials.
The team methodically structured the space planning, with sheer understanding of the type of building materials needed here; which set in tone with the climatic conditions, a longstanding design that would sustain every extremity of the weather conditions. The team determined every building material from timber to stone, to suit the space and the atmosphere accordingly!
The exterior roofing is designed with a sloping pitched roof, an ideal, healthy and safest solution since this geographic area experiences heavy rain throughout the monsoon periods! They are also pretty much aesthetically pleasing by view too!
The interiors included furniture fittings that were set within the building. This architectural specialty was preferred so as to ensure the furniture & other fittings in the building to be easily organized or interchanged.
The Landscaping was done with a view to create a natural outdoor oasis of greenery! Creating an imitation of nature with more trees, exotic shrubs and beautiful flowering plants, that brings in more appealing environment for people to take a stroll or relax around! The most remarkable aspect to note, we conserved the existing trees on site and renovated the space around to create a natural scene!
