When it comes to distinctly designing spaces in Kerala, especially with the ‘Contemporary Style’ pretty much in vogue! Designing a distinct approach with a unique design plan that stands out did take an extra effort! A modernist aspect of creating a distinct aesthetic mix; Contemporary & Classic Modern style of tactic is how the tale of this 3751 sqft residential project was weaved through!
Though the toughest challenge was in designing subtle yet unique interiors, team Affix indeed is much gratified to our client, Mr. SHOUKATH for trusting in us to shape his dream space to a well-defined trove of aesthetic decor!
The 3751 sqft residential property located at Kainaty, was designed with the modern features of a contemporary elevated flat roof to bring in a clean geometry & contrast in materials to create a integrative design that was artistic, functional and in harmony surroundings! The best of architectural specialty being the flat turn staircase with glass handrail highlight a beautiful, modern staircase, lit with led light filters to let light travel through, making it feel even brighter and larger, at a height of 7meter gives a more modern, stylish feeling in the home!
As for the colour theme, the interior design team of Affix, keeping in mind the beautiful geography, chose to design it with elements that reflect the distinct shades of Arabian Desert and its ecosystem! Adding luminous luxury with every details, colours, shades & patterns that well harmonised the subtle yet luxurious look of art of the desert land!
The elements of design for the interiors were created by merging traditional veneer finished wood within contemporary layouts in brass material; especially for the living and dining partition! Adding an alluring & sleek finish to the interiors!
With a colossal spread of space, as the client’s requirements, the rooms are built 3.9/4m in size, containing a separate dressing area, prayer area, kitchen area, 4 bedrooms with washrooms and a multipurpose room!
To bring in structures that are both utilitarian and reminiscent of luxury, team Affix added some special materials! To mention a few stand-outs is; the Brass finish privacy partition in the living area which leads to dining – brings in a retro allure that inspires a modern aesthetic! The wooden stairs were fit with led strip for a spectacular look, adding a safe & upgraded expression! Another prominent material is the Italian joint free tile, one of the finest materials bring a visibly rich look & the satin matte finish tiles give a classic yet subtle look any space they are put in!
On an overall aspect the complete architecture of client was accomplished as per their vision to visually represent architecture that was replete with a thoughtful atmosphere and experiential blend of modern & contemporary tropical architecture, embellished with subtle luxury!
