Designed by Affix Architects presents a unique blend of European and Kerala here!
Here’s the breath-taking and instantly inviting design and classic fuse of Kerala house with a European architecture designed for our client Muneer Kummangode!
This colonial-style encompasses many stylish influences and overlapping design styles. Every region has its diversity within its regional style and though initially, it was a challenge to us to incorporate a colonial exterior, as per the client’s wishes, our designers achieved to incorporate it by making the roof a sloping one and adding classic sunshade.
Every corner of this was translated according to the vision of the client who wanted a classically colonial-inspired grandeur residence where color, pattern, antiques, and art mixed to every nook and corner!
At the entry, guests are greeted with sprawling lawns and a front facade that is accentuated by sera white stone and for the backyard lawns are dotted with short palm and shrubs interwoven with winding paths of Korean grass, floral façade, and tandoor stone columns that add elegance and luxury to the landscape! It also serves as an unwinding space for the family.
The location of this beautiful space brings a natural touch with its evenly leveled area and great earthy atmosphere! The Architectural specialty lies in the elements of design used that is of geometrical shapes; pergolas and floral designs in the fabric make space look the most vibrant and recreational!
The bungalow houses all the service needs of the house. There are about 4 bedrooms; with separate dressing areas, washrooms and all in around has a room size of 4.6*4m. A room can have too many things to look at but, the designers’ creativity lies in making sure your eye is drawn to places where it can rest and feel pleased and be in awe!
