This is a European style & Classic Kerala fusion house design by our team of Affix Architects was designed for our client Ismail from Payyoli. This design comprises of 4573 sqft total area with 5 rooms altogether of 4.8×4.5m sizes each and has a separate dressing area and washrooms.
With the location set on a leveled site that has beautiful Malabar-style greener surroundings, the team had to plan out some contemporary, handpicked plans to make inclusive of the client’s wish of a modern styled Kerala Home!
The European-style houses are famous for their classic architecture where we induced some common features such as wood facades, with Teak wood, for the natural appeal, versatility and strength of teak make it the superior choice for external cladding. Teak cladding/facade not only creates a building of superior strength, acoustic and thermal performance but also creates a place of beauty, style, and natural appeal.
The American shingles that are paved on the sloped roof, the white windows, and the glossy theme are all features that are commonly seen in European-style houses. Internal courtyard, customized furniture, terrace sitting space and cool, elegant, tandoor stone decorated yard with beautiful flowering plants on both ends along with Korean grass lawn, decorated with short palm and shrubs that makes for beautiful views of the perfectly designed landscape and greenery fills one’s heart with pleasantness…!
As with the interiors, a contemporary blend of traditional Malabar elements offers an array of interesting features that add to the elegant charm of the house! The classy shade of beige and warm wood veneer finishing made the place look extremely pleasant and stylish. Highly durable Italian Marble tiles, with sophisticated designs, were used to add splendor to the living space! Unique wall arts, artistic CNC cutting in multi wood, beautiful metal frame designs, and warmth of beige color fill the interiors with classy vibes.
The spaces were amazingly designed with backlit geometrical shapes, pergolas and spectacularly decorated fabric-based floral designs added, to make the space look mesmerizing and luxurious connecting the mix of modern Malabar style and European grandeur!
This project stands out for the team’s best efforts with quality design and the elemental blend of Kerala and European styles and more so for the fact that the client and his family were much happy and thrilled to get a perfect house design as they wished for! That’s another added feather to our Cap!
