That’s the theme idea of our client Ashraf Muthuvadathur’s residence! Located in the rocky area of Kummangode and spread at square feet of 4385, the client’s old structure was minimally demolished and re-constructed to adapt to the influence of Arabian and modern, classy Kerala Home! This overall project was completed by our designers well a month before the construction timeframe of 19 months!
The colors used are neutral in tones of the desert dunes and sensational sunsets like Beige for the interiors and blending light and dark colors in the exterior.
While for this blend of Arabian style architectural specialty, our team infused the ambient and spacious internal courtyard that defines natural light and aura of freshness. Adding the double-height skylight, for sky watching with such a high ceiling gives it the illusion of being part of outdoor space! The sitting area terrace was designed to make it a splendid area to enjoy morning coffee, read a book, fine dine or just relax!
The interiors were designed with a careful selection of Teak wood and wood veneer panel finish to bring in a nice and smooth contrast finish. Featuring wall Cladding panels and Nano white marble flooring that will turn any room into a pleasurable space!
Sera white stone for a modern entryway and tandoor stone for the backyard with beautiful flowering plants laid on two sides of the house in Korean grass lawn enhances old-fashioned nature with the modern and luxurious! Instilling the best quality UPVC frames add a clean finishing and since it has much superior resistance to chemical erosion and the smoothness adds for a durable and quality option!
Profile lightings make for great ceilings that enhance the whole area with luminaries that increase the room’s functionality. CNC engraved; carved frames add stunning frames of art to the interiors! With curved glass staircases, the modernity and classic design feature of contemporary Arabian style were kept alive as it is both at the same time, a functional item and a piece of art!
Overall, this Arabian influenced and fuse of Kerala design by team Affix reflected a modern, rustic yet keeping the rural ambient look as per client’s requirements.
Arabian style is all about nomadic, desert life and the blend of the countryside of Kerala style design brought out the heritage of the residence!
