With Client Akeel’s residential property situated near to widespread highway of Memunda in Kerala, with an area of 4240 sqft, it indeed was a great place to design a mix of sloping and flat roof with cladding stone!
This facade of home just not only plays a key role in making a great first impression but also expresses the personality of its occupants and the space it holds inside! Team Affix fulfilled this project as per the client’s requirements by choosing unique materials for different areas of the house to make it not just grandeur but add elements of wow in every corner!
As for the elements of design, nothing beats the natural and simple beauty of wood, sandstone. Wood is the most aesthetically complementing material used in combination with sandstones to bring in warmth.
Transforming the bland facade into a striking golden theme exterior was achieved through the clever use of sandstone and the interiors were blended with light cool colors of Beige. In this building, Nano white marble and sandstone cladding are used to create a stark contrast in the elevation that draws immediate attention!
The Architectural specialty was achieved with experimenting and achieving the design in idea into the reality of amazing internal courtyard that brings a sense of lightness and freshness to the ambiance; also it lets ample light into the interiors. Spiral stairs bring a style and add a unique frame to space. Bringing in a rooftop garden area design exudes downtown cool and turned the space into a peaceful refuge and a popular one to hang out along with the sitting area!
